Lyrique Dance Competition Team Auditions
Mini Stars & Mini Prep Competition Team (Ages 6-8)
Mini Team is our youngest competitive team, where dancers train together in class and gain foundational skills in performance and technique. Mini Prep focuses on technique and team building but does not compete, making it a great option for dancers looking to grow in a structured environment.
Junior, Preteen, and Teen/Senior Teams (Ages 9-18) Dancers train in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and technique, with additional opportunities to take acro, hip hop, and tap. Teams participate in company rehearsals throughout the summer and dance season.
2025-2026 Auditions: May 14 & 15
Mandatory Summer Rehearsals: August 4-9 & 18-23

2025 Summer Training Guest Teachers
Julie Berardi is the Owner and Artistic Director of Synergy Dance, as well as the Spirit Coordinator of the Eastern University Cheer and Dance Teams. Julie started dancing at a young age and received highly technical and ballet-centered training. Since graduating from Penn State where she earned a B.A. in Public Relations/Advertising, Julie was able to turn her passion for dance into a career in choreography and coaching for dance teams and studios across the country. She coached and choreographed for the 3x National Champion Penn State Lionettes Dance Team from 2015-2021. Since founding Synergy Dance in 2015, she has choreographed for over 75 high school, college, pro and all-star dance teams and studios competing at UDA, NDA, USA, DTU and state/regional competitions. She has continued to build her team by adding innovative and talented choreographers to the Synergy Staff. Julie has judged for UDA High School Nationals (NDTC) for the past 6 years and has a unique point of view as judge, coach and choreographer that enables her routines to be very successful at competition. In 2021, Julie began her journey at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, creating the cheer and dance teams from scratch and building a spirit program from the ground up!
